Lacey's journey started in 2009 as a fitness instructor in her hometown of Denison, Texas. Having taught a variety of group fitness classes with multiple certifications including Pilates and Zumba, she found her true calling was yoga. After teaching for several years , Lacey decided it was time to take her training to the next level. She completed her 200 Hour and 500 Hour registered yoga teacher training from North Texas Yoga and holds a Y12SR- The Yoga of 12-Step Recovery certification. She is currently training with the Trauma Center for Trauma Sensitive Yoga. Lacey is passionate about helping those who are affected by addiction maintain a long term sustainable recovery through the use of mind/body practices. Aside from yoga, Lacey holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Texas Christian University. During her free time she enjoys being with her church family, working out, reading, attending concerts and spending time with her husband, son, daughter and three rescue dogs. Lacey currently volunteers as a student mentor at Judith Harlow Elementary School to help serve as a positive role model to young children and also helps advocate for and mentor kids in the Relay Hope program.
